Author Spotlight: C. Meadows

One of the greatest joys of being in a writing group is getting to celebrate the successes and accomplishments of the writers in your group. So it gives me great pleasure to announce the debut novel of C. Meadows “No Coincidence, a PJ Mystery.”

I have known Christy for several years now, and I’ve watched as she’s crafted, reworked, and toiled over her cozy mystery. Each draft she made huge strides in making the story more compelling and to keep readers second-guessing all the way through.

Let me get right to providing a taste of her book.

Abby Chase starts a new life on a Wyoming ranch working as a waitress after her husband surprises her with divorce papers. Attempting to renew her spirit, she turns to nature and metalsmithing in her free time. While out for a hike with her dog, PJ, her faithful companion returns with a bone. The discovery concludes the search for a hunter who had been missing for nearly a year and throws Abby in the middle of a murder investigation. She must figure out who killed the hunter while her life unravels around her and before the murderer can get to her.

You’ll fall in love with Abby who struggles through her insecurities and doubts herself even as she finds that she’s more and more entangled in the mystery.
