Poem: Life Lessons

Sometimes I wonder
what type of lessons
weโ€™re trying to teach
each other.

We communicate without listening.
We rage and show no compassion.
We know the absolute truth,
yet, no one agrees on what that is.

We are distant and irritable,
but at least weโ€™re right.

I think most people must
find life boring.
Theyโ€™ve lived so little,
but they already
know everything.
